Meme a Day!

This poor blog has been so neglected!  Even more so than my designing blog!  I am hoping to start posting here more and I am starting that with a Meme a Day for this week.  So here is the first one:

1. If you could build a house anywhere, where would it be? In the secluded mountains.

2.What is your favorite article of clothing? Tank tops

3. Last C.D. you bought? um.. in iTunes, I just bought the Colbie Calliat song “Brighter than the Sun”.

4. Where is your favorite place to be? Watching TV in bed.

5. Least favorite place to be? the dentist.

6. Are you strongest in mind or body? Mind without a doubt.

7. What time do you wake up? between 6:00 and 6:30 in the morning.

9. What instrument would you like to play? Piano but I do play the clarinet.

What I Scrapped July 3rd

This week I didn’t get to scrap too much because I was gone for the first part of the week and then runnning around like crazy the rest of it.  But I made up for it yesterday!  Plus at the end I will give a recap of my template experiment.

First up, I made this page for Chelle (who is now over at Scrap Orchard):

And then I did this two pager for Wendy.  It was the most labor intensive page I think I have done, but I love the results!

And then I have been hard at work yesterday on the The Lilypad Challenges!  Here is what I have scrapped for those!

  

And there you go!  My pages for the week.  And for the final tally on the great template experiment.  For the month of June, I did one page that wasn’t a template or a lift.  Overall, I found the experience freeing, I didn’t have to worry as much about composition and could focus on other things.  Will I become a template only scrapper? Most likely no.  But I do find myself that if I am not immediately inspired reaching into my template stash.  So hopefully I will start scrapping faster and better!
